Shhh. It’s the Quiet Hours Exhibition

I am quietly excited to be part of the Quiet Hours Exhibition at the Kariton Art Gallery. There will be an opening reception from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. if you want to come by to check out the show and enjoy some light refreshments.

My work is called “Finding Quiet.” And here is the statement to go with it: if I could sleep in a cloud, how loud would the world seem from way up there? Cocooned in swirls of invisible softness, where in my make-believe existence, the laws of physics would be up in the air without a care. In a land of busy-busy bees, it ironically seems like work to remember to find the quietness in our days and nights—to slow down to breath in the magic of just being. There is still a slight edge to you and a dash of grey loveliness in the clouds of your mind as you drift to the location of quiet hours in the space-time continuum. Remember to honour your connection to yourself, the universe, and that inner cloud of metaphysical comfort that no traveller should go without in their journey in life.
